The Wastelanders update is finally here for Fallout 76 and marks the game’s debut on Steam.
The update for the game is actually huge and comes in at 70 GB for consoles, 54 GB on the Bethesda.net launcher, and 68 GB on Steam. Here are the version numbers you should look out for:
- PC: 1.3.0.23
- PS4: 1.3.0.23
- Xbox: 1.3.0.23
If you’ve played Fallout 76 on Bethesda.net, all your progress, friends, and purchased shop items will transfer. However, any Atoms (microtransaction currency) and Fallout 1st memberships will not carry over. Additionally, if you grab the game through April 28, you’ll receive a bundle containing Fallout 1, 2, and Fallout Tactics for free.
The patch notes are significant and include a human NPCs, dialogue similar to Fallout 3, a new main quest, Raiders, Settlers, Gold Bullion system, faction reputation, allies, repeatable events, daily quests, and more including new enemies and improvements to lighting.
