Fallout 76’s recent Inside the Vault announcement states that the titular live service game is bringing a plethora of new updates and events for its dedicated fanbase. They are urging players to get the public test server setup so they can take part in exterminating some bugs (not just radroaches).
Casinos and Quests Await in Atlantic City
Mark your calendars for December 5th, as Fallout 76 unveils the Atlantic City – Boardwalk Paradise. Bethesda’s next big update promises new locations, factions, quests, enemies, and rewards. The Atlantic City update is so extensive that it's being released in two parts, and will need ample testing to get the update in ship shape.
Playtest Atlantic City Early
Starting October 3, players can get a sneak peek of the Atlantic City content on the Public Test Server. However, don’t think that your expedition to Atlantic City will be all fun and games, as the developers are keen on gathering feedback on the early game experience for newcomers. Hence, from September 28th, the Public Test Server will be accessible to all PC players who have a Fallout 76 copy on Steam. The playtest will focus on the experience of a fresh character emerging from the Vault – but when October 3rd rolls around, the PTS will feature not only the Atlantic City content but also a new feature that will allow players to alter the weather conditions in their C.A.M.P.
Many players have been clamoring for more expeditions and content ever since the release of The Pitt in September of 2022. With the upcoming update, Vault Dwellers are getting exactly what they want! Fans subscribed to Bethesda’s YouTube channel should look forward to Developer Deep Dives on October 2 and October 5 outlining what they can expect. If you're not on YouTube, don't fret too much as we will have plenty of coverage to summarize what you’ve missed.
