The success of Amazon Prime’s Fallout TV series has had a huge knock on effect on the popularity of the games. We recently reported on some of the concurrent user count growth since the show’s premiere on April 10, and then news that Nexus Mods’ servers have been straining under the load of all the players flocking to the site to download Fallout mods on PC.
Bethesda itself took to Twitter/X on the official Fallout account to share some new figures on the impact of the show. It turns out that Fallout 76 saw one million players join the game in a single day. More broadly, Bethesda also reported that over five million players played Fallout games in a single day.
Thank you to the over one million of you who adventured with us in #Fallout76 in a single day... pic.twitter.com/rbariEI4q8

If you’re still on the fence, the studio is offering a number of incentives for joining in on the post-apocalyptic fun for players of Fallout 76. The massive discount that ran through April 18 is now over, but players can still claim a Vault 33 jumpsuit in the game’s Atomic Shop through May 7.
There’s a ton more Bethesda has in store for Fallout 76, including Skyline Valley, an entirely new region being added to the game’s open world sometime in June.
