Fallout 76 servers are going dark today as maintenance is carried out for server stability and improvements.

The post from Bethesda’s forums reads,

“We’re planning to bring Fallout 76 offline for all platforms starting at 10:00 a.m. EDT tomorrow, October 1, to perform maintenance and apply an improvement for server stability.

Shortly following maintenance, around 12:00 p.m. EDT, we are also planning to remove the Survival Mode Beta from the game. This change will not require additional downtime. You can also click here to read our recent article for more details about our decision to disable Survival Mode.

Once maintenance begins, you will be unable to log into or play Fallout 76. We will keep you updated throughout downtime, and we will let you know as soon as you can head back into Appalachia.”

In case you missed it, Fallout 76 will finally receive a test server...in 2020.
