The Year of the Azure Dragon is nearly upon us, and Pearl Abyss is taking the opportunity to give Garmoth a new look during a new Black Desert Online event.
Blue Garmoth isn’t just sporting a new look, as there’s a new challenge awaiting those who dare challenge her. If you defeat her, you'll be able to get 1,000 Cron stones and a special piece of furniture to mark your victory, Essence of the Azure Dragon. There are additional rewards you can earn, and you can also get another bonus by taking a photo with this furniture piece and sharing it with the photo gallery, for a special dragon's blessing times 3 for an item drop rate boost of 30% for 1 hour. Challenge Garmoth now through February 14th.
The preseason of the War of the Roses will begin on February 4th, and this is the 300 v300 large scale massive PVP between O’dyllita and Kamasylvia. Pearl Abyss is looking for “Leading Guilds” and alliances that want to take leadership positions in the battle and to help get things rolling. Leading Guilds are those representing one of the two involved factions and will have a captain and three lieutenants to lead them. The captains of these guilds will serve their factions by having command over the forces during the War of the Roses when the mode begins.
Those interested in putting their guild up for a leadership position can do so through January 24th.
There are a number of other events to partake in too, including Moon’s Week. Summon the Black Spirit and accept a quest, then defeat one Moon-feebled boss in Boss Blitz through the shrine. Speaking of moons, the Secret Book of the Old Moon event is also on, with the potential to grab a special bonus book for progression bonuses.
