Lost Ark’s next update, “Chase the Storm” is coming tomorrow, adding the new Behemoth Raid, progression updatesto help you prepare for Tier 4’s release next month, and the Weapon Transcendence system.
Behemoth is finally (almost here), after slaughtering many in South Kurzan and disappearing, injured, to parts unknown. Now, he's back joining the chaos Guardians and bent on destruction. This is a 16-player raid requiring item level 1620. There are no Allied Forces or Sidereal skills in the raid, and there is a limit of eight available revives in the entire 2 gate raid. This is clearly going to take some thoughtful team strategy and cooperation to make it through the fight with this huge dragon.
The raid has been tailored for Western players after its Korean debut, Including by setting the item level to 1620. There are additional tweaks to the raid from the original version that you'll find in raid balance, all the way up to the rewards.
Speaking of rewards, the Weapon Transcendence system is fueled by materials that drop rewards from a successfully fought Behemoth encounter. Use them to improve your weapons’ basic effects by heading to the vendor that also handles Armor Transcendence. You'll get a first clear reward of 100 Behemoth’s Scale to get you started..You don't even have to clear the full raid in order to take advantage, because you can begin after completing just the first gate. After clearing the second gate, you can access Weapon Transcendence levels 6 and 7.
Those two major additions are the bulk of the update, but there are two new quests, 14 new achievements, some new titles, the Behemoth card, and more.
It’s time to prepare for Tier 4 in Lost Ark once the update is live. An eight-hour downtime is currently set for 12am PT/ 3 am ET.
