Expansion 2 Slated for Launch in May

When Bungie posted the extensive roadmap for Destiny 2 updates over the next several months, it neglected to reveal the date for Expansion 2, likely called Gods of Mars. However, Game Director Christopher Barrett put out a Tweet to confirm that it will arrive in May alongside Season 3.

We don't officially know much about Expansion 2, though the Japanese PlayStation Store leaked out some information in December 2017:

Destiny 2 Expansion II: Gods of Mars sends your Guardian out to Mar's Clovis Grove, a brand new destination that is host to an array of brand new missions and adventures. Work alongside the elusive Ana Bray in order to prevent Charlemagne, Matrix of Corruption from amassing an army of SIVA-enhanced weaponized frames before Mars is lost. Features:

• Explore Mars' Clovis Grove and uncover 'Charlemagne's Vault' underneath the frozen wastes
• New story missions and adventures
• New themed weapons, armor, and gear to uncover
