Two very separate worlds are about to collide, as Exoprimal and Mega Man are collaborating to create some nifty looking Exosuits and an intriguing new game mode.
The dino-shooter Exoprimal will be welcoming the world of Mega Man into the game in Update four, which is scheduled to go live on April 14th. There will be six new Exosuit variants added to give more of the Mega Man feel to the chaos of battle, as well as a brand new mode added to spice things up. This is just another collaboration to come to the game this year, as previously we saw a Monster Hunter collaboration that brought a massive Triceratops boss fight to the game.
The 10-player co-operative challenge is called Time Loop Rebellion, and players will take on Leviathan one more time in a very difficult battle that is said to be for only those who have strong minds and hearts. The teams of ten will need to work together to earn cosmetic items and various rewards for finishing the latest gauntlet. Time Loop Rebellion will only be available for a limited time, as it goes live on April 25th and ends on April 29th.
There is also a new Custom Match game mode that allows friends to share passwords between each other to take on Dino Survival mode as a tight knit team. This is cross platform play as well, and parameters can be set to cater to any playstyle by choosing what Final Mission to tackle and what field to battle on.
Lastly, there is a new rig in town known as the Mortar, that shoots incendiary bombs that explode on contact. This will also set enemies on fire when hit, throwing out even more damage amidst the drove of bloodthirsty dinosaurs.
