Zoria: Age of Shattering, is a tactical squad-based RPG on the way, and developer Tiny Trinket and publisher Anshar are giving us an exclusive peek at a new trailer announcing the game’s release date.
Zoria is a single-player tactical RPG with turn-based combat, outpost management, and follower coordination to handle. Set in a fantasy world, your task is to put together a party of four to adventure in the name of freeing the kingdom of Zoria from the invading hellspawn. It's your job to find the best balanced party, with warriors and mages to strategically have a party up to the task. That is just the initial premise of the Kickstarted-RPG and the team promises lots more to dive into.
In addition to just choosing your party members, you can send them out on autonomous missions and manage your roster. This will help you to build up your potential squad members for when they’re most needed. As you progress your roster members, you’ll get the opportunity to unlock new areas and quests by leveling up and learning new skills.
You’ll also have to strengthen your forces by building and maintaining your base. The game also features crafting and rest systems. Preparing to face the threat that has ravaged the country, the once green forests, towns, and more that have been withered and crushed.
The release date reveal trailer shows some of the classic-RPG flavor, including combat, skills, spells, and the variety of environments available.
Zoria: Age of Shattering will be out on March 7, 2024. You can find out more about this upcoming indie RPG over at the game’s Steam page.
