Exclusive: EverQuest's 2025 Roadmap Features New Event Content, Content Unlocks, and More

 EverQuest’s 2025 roadmap is here, along with a brand new Producer’s Letter.

Head of Studio Jenn Chan takes a moment to recap the end of 2024. Milestones include Champion's Festival’s return for EverQuest’s big 25th anniversary, the annual expansion launch, EQ’s 31st, The Outer Brood, and the Darkpaw Games community's generosity, raising over $139k for Extra Life. 

As for that 2025 roadmap. Tier 1 raids for The Outer Brood unlock this month, and Erollisi Day returns to spread the love, with some new content. Also unlocking are Underfoot on Yelinak and The Serpent’s Spine on Oakwynd. In February, expect Tier 2 raids for The Outer Brood, and additional content unlocks on Yelinak, Mischief, Aradune, Rizlona, Teek and Tormax. 

March features returning events, and the 26th anniversary. Outer Brood Tier 3 raids unlock, wth secrets and stories revealed. Brew Day returns, along with Stomples’ Day. Bristlebane’s Day also returns with new content.Servers will continue with content unlocks. 

April is light on paper, but there's content to play through, including new content for the Tempest Festival. In May, look forward to a new progression server launch and more content unlocks. In June, Pride Month celebrations return, along with Hardcore Heritage and Scorched Sky. 

July kicks off the second half of 2025 content with Death, Death, Death! and Living Legacy raids. There is a potential server merge coming in July as well. August brings something brand new, Stone Cold Summer, along with content unlocks across various servers. September brings Fall Fun 1 and 2 and Talk Like a Pirate Day. Fall Fun 3 will happen in October.

As for what else is happening in October, Nights of the Dead, of course. And the announcement of the 32nd expansion along with beta and pre-orders. In November, the Champions Festival will be back again with new content, and Extra Life and the Feast of Giving too. Finally, in December, that 32nd expansion will be out. The team also promises Frostfell with new content, and New Year’s celebrations. 

The Darkpaw Games team promises continued improvements this year, including better anti-cheat measures, server performance improvements, and the conversion of suite windows to the new UI engine.
