The developers of EverQuest are celebrating for the entire year of 2024 in what they are calling Year of the Darkpaw. With the dawn of a new month just beginning, the devs have announced new giveaways for the month of February.
The Northern Desert Outlook Device is the next gift in the series of giveaways this year, and it will only be free until the end of February 2024. The item is also available to every character, meaning that players can claim it on more than one of their in-game characters.
There will also be a limited-edition item in the Marketplace for sale. The item for February is the Forsaken Weapon Ornament set, and again it will go away on March 1st, 2024, so anyone looking to grab it must do so quickly before it is gone.The set sports bright blue almost fluorescent colors and it appears that there is one of each weapon available in the set. From an axe to a shield, to swords, and even a bow, meaning this set is inclusive for anyone's playstyle.
The items from the previous month, January 2024, are still available in-game but are no longer free of charge. Anyone wishing to own the Orc Warrior Metamorph wand must purchase the item if they did not get their hands on it during last month's giveaway.
Meanwhile, EverQuest 2 players can also get in on the giveaway action as Darkpaw is handing out a free Yelinak Dragon Statue for all players to claim it on the marketplace by the end of the month. For those who practice the art of trade skilling, Darkpaw also mentions plenty of new questlines to complete, giving new recipes and even an achievement.
