EverQuest has made the Terror of Luclin expansion free to play, along with some summer discounts and the return of some special items.

Terror of Luclin originally released back in late 2021, and is the 28th expansion released for EverQuest. If you haven’t set yourself among the vampires, Tegi, shadow creatures, and the mysterious happenings on the moon of Luclin, then now you can do it for free. The Akheva and Aten Ha Ra, their High Priestess, is working to concentrate power across the moon, having already taken some power for herself but she has greater ambitions. The expansion Embraces the supernatural and the Menace to add new raids, new quests, expands the level cap, and adds seven new zones to explore.

With a brand new expansion to play for free, EverQuest is having a special sale. The Ring of Scale expansion, released in 2017, had some special new items, and if you missed them, there are new bundles with returning items. The first bundle includes items like the Painting: Ring of Scale, Cockatrice Mount, and Devourer Familiar. The second bundle will get you Veeshan Burning Bas-Relief, Herald Telcha Familiar, and Guise of the Iron-Toothed Earthdigger. One bundle  features many of those items for the Agnarr server only. If you want any of the items, you can add them to your collection through July 11th as long as your server has unlocked Ring of Scale.

Next month, on July 17th, the Thornblade server will be merged into the Mischief server, and in preparation for this Server merge, they are offering free character transfers off of Thornblade now through the merge beginning. If you have a character on the Thornblade server you can transfer to Mischief or Firiona Vie anytime between now and then. Full details on the server merges answer questions about names and the process.
