EverQuest's latest expansion, Terror of Luclin is now available for preorder. Darkpaw Games has also opened the expansion content for beta testers who are looking to test the new content and help the spooky new expansion succeed. Access to beta comes with all preorders.
Terror of Luclin takes place on the titular moon, where something is clearly happening. Between the Akheva moving to try and gain more power, Mayong Mistmore was spotted on Luclin, so where this vampire lord appears, investigation is warranted. What is he looking for? Is there a new plot stirring? And if there is trouble and danger coming, how will you stop him? That's where the new content comes in.
The Akheva stirring up in the name of acquiring power? There’s a brand new raid to resolve this and earn some new loot in the process. Aten Ha Ra is having visions of Luclin, motivating her to continue claiming power and grow her influence. Unless you stop her. She is one of the enemies in the new content, including her own forces and others. You'll find some old enemies and surprises too. Fortunately, there are also Akhevans that don't follow Aten Ha Ra and her endless quest for power, and this will be a point you'll be able to follow in the new content that will take you through Luclin's prison, investigate the shadows, and work to set things right again.
The expansion also expands the level cap to 120, adds new spells and abilities, as well as new items. There are also seven new zones to explore during your questing.
