Sony Online releases a Macintosh version of its online RPG that includes the original game and four of the expansion packs.
Sony Online has announced that EverQuest Macintosh Edition is now available in retail stores. The version for Apple's OS X operating system will replicate the online role-playing experience that has earned the EverQuest more than 500,000 PC subscribers. The version will include the original EverQuest game, plus the first four expansions: The Ruins of Kunark, The Scars of Velious, The Shadows of Luclin, and The Planes of Power.
EverQuest Macintosh Edition has a suggested price of $49.99 and includes a 30-day subscription to the game, which otherwise costs $12.95 per month to play. For more details, check out our previous coverage of EverQuest and its expansions.
