Today, EverQuest II’s Scars of Destruction expansion enters beta. Beta testing will run until the expansion is released, and Daybreak has a details on the expansion content, how to access the beta server, beta rewards, and details on all the pre-order additions and bonuses.
If you pre-order the expansion content, then you'll easily be able to join in the beta test and check out some of the new features on the way when the expansion launches. The next chapter of EverQuest II will arrive with new quests. Take on new Adventure, Signature, and Tradeskill quests, and immerse yourself in new solo, heroic and raid content.
Of course we can expect new raids, new dungeons, and new locations in otherwise familiar lands. Think Blackhook Spiral and Dragon Necropolis. Beyond these, there are some new features, like Weapon Auras to add some flair to your gear, and a new Petamorph Key Ring to store your wands.
Play in the beta and help the Darkpaw team to get the expansion ready for its formal launch to earn yourself a number of special rewards. Among them are the Hoarfang Growler and Enchanted Iceling pets, the Well Prepared stat buff, and a new Mercenary, Koahcoo Kachoo.
If you want to participate in the beta and still need to preorder the expansion, there are several options. All will include beta access and the Iceclad Tundra Fox pet.
