Summer Jubilee is back in EverQuest II, beginning with Tinkerfest. The EQII team is also celebrating Pride Month with some new lion familiars.
The team at Darkpaw Games has some new content and surprises in store for Tinkerfest, along with some returning features. New this year is an event quest, “Forgotten Complications”, which you can find amongst the cogs in celebration locations. The tinkerers once again need some help, and several celebration locations are the hubs of the event.
Also new this year is a level-scaling version of the 2022 dungeon for those under level 119. Innovation: Tinkerer’s Trial will grant Summer Jubilee coins to all who complete it, with double coins for subscribers. There’s also an adjusted adventure quest, “Blood, Sweat, and Gears” now available to all levels, with the exploration achievements also now open to all.
There’s a new collection, Tinmizer’s Medals of Achievement, and a number of new items. There are nine new merchant items, including a new wand, housing decorations and plushies. Also new with the event is the latest Tradeskill recipe book, "Tinkerfest Blueprints 15.0”. In order to make use of the new recipes, you’ll need to participate in the event and earn yourself some Shiny Tinkerfest Cogs. There are 31 new blueprints.
Summer Jubilee also adds a new item slot, Plume. This year, there are three types you can earn throughout the full summer event, with bonuses to crit bonus, ability doublecast, and max health percentage. You can earn your first Plume in the Summer Jubilee solo dungeon now that Tinkerfest is here. The new solo dungeon, Triad of Elements, is open to all and repeatable.
The event is live across all live servers, with special rules servers getting adjusted versions.
Finally, EverQuest II has also added some new Mithaniel lions to celebrate Pride Month and the LGBTQIA+ community. The new offerings are in several additional Pride colors, and are free in the Marketplace through July 9th. Look for Mithaniel’s Aceheart Lion, Mithaniel’s Freeheart Lion, and Mithaniel’s Openheart Lion.
