EverQuest II has renamed the Days of Summer event to feature the current state of the event and now, welcome to Panda, Panda, Panda! From September 21st through November 23rd, adventure in Norrath, with the Hua Mein all around and take on new challenges for special rewards. This year, Mei Lan returns as this year’s quest giver, but this time through quests and challenges, you’ll be helping her to understand the Norrathian holidays. If you succeed, you'll be rewarded from the merchant Yun Zi's vast collection of treasure.

Days of Summer was changed since there have been many more Hua Mein around Yun Zi, and the challenges and whimsical details simply made sense.

The event will start after the scheduled downtime tomorrow, September 21st, and will be a subscription required event for All Access members only. If you are a member, or sign up during the event's run, you can log on and head to The Sundered Frontier to begin and find Mei Lan and get your first quest. You'll have to adventure and bring back what's requested to exchange for a new prize. You'll be able to get a new quest each week throughout the event run.

Things should run similarly to Days of Summer events in the past even under the name change, so once you start the challenges, you should be able to exchange for prizes upon completion each week. Previous rewards included decoration packs, staves, runes, a hammer, an Ascension Mastery Primer, and others. Rewards unlocked on one character should unlock for all of your characters on the account, though some criteria may need to be met (in 2020, this was level 120).

Daybreak’s All Access membership is required for this event, and you can find out more about the Panda, Panda, Panda! event as well as on the All Access options available, by heading to the newly renamed event’s announcement post from EverQuest II. With a new expansion on the way, could this shed a little light on the timing to come?
