EVE Vanguard is back for Founders to test now through January 29th, while EVE Online celebrates its recent updates with a new Pulse video.
Firstly, EVE Online's FPS module, EVE Vanguard, starts its latest test today and runs until January 29th. The update brings players back onto the surface of the planets that make up New Eden's universe as a Vanguard clone to complete objectives and contribute to corruption in the insurgency systems in the space above.
Vanguard was first rolled out last month and had a great reception by all accounts, and the team at CCP are keen to keep that momentum going. Like before, you'll need an active Omega account in EVE Online to participate in the Founders Access testing, which looks like it will run monthly at least until the summer. While there are some improvements and exploit fixes compared to December's test, and there will be tangible rewards for pilots for participating, including exclusive non-tradeable ship SKINs.
Meanwhile, CCP Games have released its latest Pulse video, giving an overview of all the goings on in New Eden right now. In the video, CCP Mirage touches on the latest addition to EVE Online's Havoc expansion in the form of its ambition modifiers, which see Insurgencies, in theory, become more balanced as they continue. The video also touches on the Kickstarter for the EVE Online board game which has already reached its funding goal.
