In the future as in the present, humanity still yearns to reach out into space and explore the stars. When a wormhole unexpectedly opens near Earth, it allows mankind the unprecedented opportunity to do so by making a giant leap into an unknown sector of the universe. Now in the final months of development at the Icelandic offices of Crowd Control Productions, usually referred to as CCP, EVE: The Second Genesis is an eye-catching massively multiplayer title combining elements of space simulation action and role-playing. After many years, a large civilization had grown up at the other end of the wormhole. However, its inevitable collapse spelled doom for hundreds of colonies that were dependent on it. After thousands of years, five empires emerged from the ruins of these outposts, and they generally co-exist in peace.
