EVE Online's World War Bee 2 Rages On as Imperium Targets FWST-8 Keepstar

How did it come to this?

As EVE Online’s World War Bee 2 rages on, sacrifices are made all for the cause.

Recently, it looked almost 3700 Capsuleers fought in NPC Delve which very well could be the bloodiest single engagement of the war thus far. The focus was an FORT Keepstar. Even though they were outnumbered, Imperium destroyed the Keepstar, sacrificing 250 Dreads.

The fighting continued and was documented in a live blog over at INN. At 1744 EVE Time, the Keepstar timer was paused, Time dilation, or TiDI, was causing missile cycles to be extremely slow. This led to 1752 when the Keepstar remained paused. At 1755, people were reporting disconnects.

At 1810 EVE Time, the servers were somehow still holding. Dreadnoughts started showing up. The Keepstar at FWST-8 was at 90%, indicating that 10% of it had been destroyed after only 45 minutes. The live blog continued until 2110 on October 6 where the Keepstar was at 59%.

A multi stream of the proceedings was broadcast across several streamers and channels. As of this writing, it’s still up. This morning, however, it could be a different story. If you want to watch the madness, you can check out the multi stream here.
