Announced during EVE Fanfest 2025, EVE Online players will be further immortalized, this time in poem inspired by the epic sagas of Iceland.

The Foundational Poem was unveiled on stage in the Harpa concert hall in downtown Reykjavik. This new book of poems will capture the history of the MMO, from the earliest days of the wars of Band of Brothers and Northern Coalition to the recent escapades of PanFam and Goonswarm.

Inspired by the storytelling traditions of Iceland, the Poetic Edda, Völuspá, and Hávamál, the Foundational Poem aims to capture the spirit, the events, and the culture of its players to truly create an epic poem that will stand the test of time and encapsulate the unique stories and history that is woven into the fabric of New Eden.

The brief video showcased on stage at EVE Fanfest gave a glimpse into the poetry on offer, and it sounds pretty incredible.  No date was given as to when this will be released, but I'm fully board for this.
