EVE Online's latest Scope video breaks down some information surrounding the latest expansion, and highlights the massive war raging in Wormhole space, which has seen 3 trillion ISK lost thus far.

For starters, EVE Online's next expansion, Equinox, was announced in late April, with CCP Games pushing to revitalize nullsec space with new upwell structures, resources and more. Equinox also sees the NPC-controlled Upwell Consortium reaching out directly to the denizens of New Eden's empire space to offer them a new life as a clone working towards Upwell's goals - though to what ultimate end remains to be seen.

Additionally, the Pulse video highlights a war that has been raging for the last month in Wormhole space, with most Wormholer corporations taking part.  Singularity Syndicate attacked Lazerhawks, the latter of which controls the majority of the most lucrative wormholes in New Eden, leading to a conflict that has seen three trillion ISK in losses since it began.

The war has been playing out under the radar somewhat due to the nature of how Wormhole space - and those who inhabit it - operates, but it's a huge amount of ISK lost in the more confined, smaller engagements that Wormhole space typically sees. According to Reddit, the Lazerhawks have  gone on the offensive in recent weeks as the war shows no sign of stopping.

The Pulse video also highlights the anniversary celebrations going on in EVE Online as the space-faring MMO turns 21 years old this year. Capsuleer Day XXI festivities are ongoing, with log-in rewards for both Alpha and Omega players, as well as new rewards to earn by traveling into Abyssal space.

The Pulse video also highlights the changes coming to EVE Vanguard, the FPS module within EVE Online that is currently being developed by CCP Games, including a new environment, as well as new challenges to overcome while on planet.
