EVE Online is gearing up for its upcoming expansion, Havoc, which launches on November 14th. Since its announcement at FanFest 2023 in Iceland earlier this Fall, the CCP Games team has been showcasing the various changes coming with Havoc, this time how they are building stronger organizations.

In the video, which features Tryggvi "CCP Ghost" Hjaltason breaking down the feature changes, EVE Online players can learn how the MMO developers intend to put even more power into the hands of its corporation leaders.  One key area is further enhancing Corporation Projects, which were introduced with the most recent expansion, Viridian. With Havoc, Corporation Projects will be able to pay out ISK to capsuleers automatically, freeing up Corporation leaders from having to manually send ISK when the job was done.

Projects will also be able to be cloned, which lets corporations more easily provide repeatable content and goals for players without having to go through and set up each manually, again - saving time. A new Corporation Project Manager role is being added to Corps, giving EVE Online players more freedom to delegate the creation and management of these projects to trusted corp members, freeing up the leaders to spend more time plotting interstellar war. Or whatever.

New contribution types are also coming with Havoc, bringing more types of content EVE Online Corp managers can set their corpmates to task on. These include projects to defend a Factional Warfare Complex, Manufacture Item, and more.

"To further recognize, reward, and incentivize the contributions of different types of capsuleer within a corporation, seven new contribution methods are being added to Corporation Projects when Havoc launches. These include Scan Signature, Capture and Defend Factional Warfare Complex, Destroy Capsuleer’s Ship, Manufacture Item, and the popular Remote Repair Armor and Remote Boost Shield."

Corporations will also notice that the trading of Loyalty Points and EverMarks will be shut down with Havoc, making individual and corporation trading of these currencies no longer an option. This is likely to ensure that mega-corporations can't simply launder LP and EverMarks to obtain the powerful new Angel Titan coming with the expansion right away.

New players will also have a new wrinkle to experience in the NPE, with Havoc providing more options for new EVE Online capsuleers.

" Currently, capsuleers have been able to start the NPE, embark on an exciting adventure through space, but with limited options of leaving that adventure until it's finished, and they haven’t been able to return to it. When Havoc lands, a fork in the road will be introduced into that experience. If capsuleers are interested in doing something else right away, they can open the AIR Opportunities portal, which will allow them to see all the different opportunities with different segments of the game and the variety of career paths that they can follow. They can start experiencing these opportunities, but always go back and continue their NPE journey when they choose to. "

EVE Online will launch Havoc on November 14th, the second expansion to release for the sci-fi MMO this year. EVE Online recently turned 20, which it celebrated with style at FanFest 2023. CCP Games recently previewed its upcoming Pirate Mechanics which aim to inject chaos into the formula when the expansion drops, all spearheaded by the Deathless who has taken up residence in the newest region in New Eden, Zarzakh.
