The Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore team has an update to their patch plans. Instead of releasing the patch today, the patch will now release on Sunday, to coincide with the previously-announced server merge.

Patch 2.4 now has available details via the game's official Discord, with full notes to come. There will be level 25 and 30 skills for most classes, except for the Ranger, Infuser, and Earthguard, which are being retooled. Most classes also get tuning and balance updates, and there are additional cloth and leather armor sets being introduced. These new armor sets use materials that will drop from the eight new monster types also arriving in this patch.

The new monsters are:

  • Mudlurkers
  • Grimbears
  • Crocodiles
  • Turtles
  • Foreststalkers
  • Trolls
  • Mairiscales
  • Arcane Elementals

Also in the update are new Alchemy recipes, new T1 to T4 potions, and other useful items, including the Portal Stone, which you can use to teleport to the nearest leyline circle once per hour. A new Thistlebrook questline is coming, along with another questline that could get you the Transmutation Stone. The latter  will open when you get a specific item drop from a boss in Corrupted Grove. Corrupted Grove gets loot tables, including 13 rare drops.

A number of quality of life updates  are coming in the patch, including travel speed boosts, and out of combat timer reduction, and more. The Gellyberry team will get assistance from their team member Robin, who is otherwise on leave. This lets them plan the server merge and the patch to go live together, for a smoother overall rollout. This change means that everyone can play through the new content without having to worry about a merge coming later.

The merged server, once work is done, will be NA-East Ethersalos (PvP). This is where everyone will play for free as the team works on overhauling and relaunching the entire game eventually.
