The day has come to enter Zereth Mortis, take on new quest content, chase the Jailer to stop his plots, and try out all new modes and more as update 9.2, Eternity’s End is now live for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands.

The update is certainly a huge one, with new features and additions touching all corners of the play experience. The new zone of Zereth Mortis hides secrets to uncover, including the brand new faction The Enlightened. The Cypher of the First Ones is a language that will let you learn some history, some lore, and some brand new skills. Among these is the use of Synthesis Forges, by which you’ll be able to learn to craft battle pets and mounts.

For those who want to continue their adventures, there are a total of eight new campaign chapters to play through.

There is a new Arena: Maldraxxus Coliseum, a new Raid: Sepulcher of the First Ones, and the all new solo queue-only Brawl: Solo Shuffle. All of these challenges are there for you to take on and earn yourself some fine rewards. And speaking of rewards, there are significant changes to class sets in this update as well.

The changes are designed to try and give a more equitable chance at getting the gear you need, through some changes to how drops work. There’s also a brand new Progenitor armor set, which will give you new abilities based on your specialization. And a new look, of course.

Overall, Eternity’s End is a packed update, and its arrival marks the third and final chapter in Shadowlands. It’s fitting that the update covers so much, seeing as this one will put a cap on things before wherever WoW will lead us all next.

The update is now live, but before you go out to close your Shadowlands adventure, reading the full patch notes is worth your time, given just how packed and extensive it all is.
