The Eternal Tombs team has been focused on building and polishing the game. Triune has a new development update detailing what they've been quietly working on for the past couple of months.
Back in November, they said that we wouldn't hear from them much for a bit as they went heads down focused. As for the work they've done, they fixed over 70 bugs, overhauled the menus, updated the starting experience, added new music, and, the core of the game hit some major milestones. World polish, build out, and Zone sync is complete. They've also updated to Combat System 3.0 with many updates and new additions.
“All new animations, New Weapon Abilities for the Wand and Staff, Muskets are now available for Bombardiers, New blood splatter system, Updated sounds and weapon updates, New Monster blood progression system (more to come)”
If you hit play on the development update video above, you can see what the world looks like, the results of lots of work they've put in, and demonstrations of many of those combat updates.
The original goal was to resume playtests for Eternal Tombs in early 2025, but they need a bit longer before they can set and announce one.
