The first update coming to Elder Scrolls Online this year is a big one, and the developers at ZeniMax Online Studios are asking for the fans' help to test the game prior to its debut. Scions of Ithelia along with update 41 are now available for testing via a public test server so that feedback can be given prior to release.
So what exactly can we expect from the playtest? There are two new dungeons with three new boss encounters in to try out, as well as three new armort sets that come with a monster for each set. A new skin is also coming to the game titled The Bloodmarks of Malacath, which sports a fiery red almost demon-like appearance.
Like every update before it, Zenimax has the upcoming Scions of Ithelia and Update 41 ready to test on the PTS, . It should be noted, however, that the PTS is only available on the PC/Mac megaserver, meaning there isn’t any testing available for console players.
For those who want to take part in the test, they will need to head to the Settings menu within the PC or Mac ESO launcher and toggle on “Show Public Test Environment.” It will then allow everyone to download and access the test server, where players can use “/feedback” to give suggestions and “/bug” in chat to reveal any issues to the devs.
