Today, The Elder Scrolls Online opens up the New Life Festival, offering gifts, an automatic +100% XP gain, event quests and more rewards.

ESO will get some big changes in 2025, but this event returns for some familiar year-end cheer. The holiday event runs through January 7th. Grab the introductory quest if you haven’t done it yet, or grab your Breda’s Bottomless Mead Mug from your inventory if you have it stored away. Once again the 100% boost to XP gain is automatic again this year, There are 10 New Life Festival daily quests that  will see you spreading holiday cheer around Tamriel.

Complete one of your daily quests to get a New Life Festival Box. The goodies you'll find inside include an assortment of alchemy crafting materials, New Life Festival toys, Wolfsbane incense, and one of a selection of recipes, New Life furnishings, charity write, and a Skinchanger motif page. New this year are The Runebox for the Surprising Snowglobe memento and a Bolt of Winter Storm Cloth, which you can earn once a day. If you've already earned one today, you'll get a substitute item. Chances to get the runebox go up  with the more Winter Storm bolts and the New Life Winter Storm Robes, a new costume you can make with 15 bolts.

The Impresario returns and there are a number of new and returning items that you can acquire, including all of the components for this year's morphing collectibles, fragments for the New Life Winter Storm Robes costume, which you can get for tickets if you're lacking enough to craft.

The event announcement details every single item you can collect during the event. If you missed out on some items from previous years, some of those are also available, so you can maximize all of your chances by getting in to celebrate and earn some tickets.
