Erenshor, the single-player “simulated MMO” has officially launched into Early Access today.
The game has significantly grown from its Origins as a demo and there are more than 100 hours of gameplay in the Early Access launch. Choose from four classes, explore dozens of zones and dungeons, fight over 120 monsters and variants, and take on more than 50 story-driven quests.
Erenshor is meant to simulate the MMORPG experience, so there are more than 100 simulated players that fill the game world, the SimPlayers. Like an MMORPG there are features like crafting and mining and fishing, more than 1,000 unique items to find, including rare and legendary items, secret dungeons and quests to discover, and hundreds of NPCs with their own custom dialogue.

How Erenshor Makes Us Question the Massively in MMORPG
You're probably familiar with experiences of taking on content solo due to time constraints, not getting a group together, or everyone's max level and you’re far from it.
The SimPlayers are there to take on dungeons together, grind for gear, take on quests, and even trade. They will not outlevel you, staying within a certain range, so everything is at your pace. Even in modern MMORPGs, features like Final Fantasy XIV’s Duty Support offers NPC players to help you complete content. Erenshor blurs that line a bit..
Erenshor’s Early Access is available on Steam for $19.99 with a launch discount.
