If you want the classic MMORPG genre’s infamous grinding and exploration experiences on the go without the need for that pesky thing called the internet, Erenshor will have you covered. The “single-player MMORPG” by Burgee Media announced full compatibility for Steam Deck, down to the last detail in its newest patch for the demo.

The blog ensures that not only is there compatibility, but also tweaks to ensure a full translation of playability. It will utilize a standard control scheme, with tutorials updating to match and its UI swapping in more accessible buttons. Plus, Steam Cloud saves will allow cross-saves between the Steam Deck and PC, so you can easily swap between the two without losing progress.

“Erenshor is a fully functioning MMORPG, except the other players aren't humans, and the 'O' stands for 'Offline',” the Steam page reads, touting “SimPlayer” bots with similar behaviors to real MMORPG players, including a marketplace.

There’s a free demo currently available for download through Steam, promising a full transition of characters into the full game upon release. For those already playing, the full blog also shares other updates to the game, including better “group” play with the SimPlayers and the return of first-person view.
