Epic Games is proving that nothing is safe in Fortnite after last night's destruction of Tilted Towers. The volcano that has been active since Season 8. It's eruption not only took out the popular Tilted Towers location but also damaged Retail Row, Greasy Grove and Polar Peak. All this comes just days ahead of the start of Season 9 on May 9th.
Players taking part in the event were working cooperatively in a squad-based game mode called The Unvaulting and were allowed to respawn if they died.
What will come next is anybody's guess, but it's fun to see a dynamic, changing game world. Check it out below.
