Turkish developer Vawraek Studios has released a bevy of information about their upcoming title The Quinfall throughout their social media over the past week. The information dump included a few choice screenshots, and some base class and subclass details that dive into their weaponry as well.

It’s clear from their trailer that The Quinfall developers know how to captivate MMORPG players that are hoping to find their next fantasy adventure. Many players have been patiently waiting for more information, and Vawraek has finally provided some details on their class and weaponry system. Here is a short list of what was released so far.

Class: Archer

Subclass: Hunter or Critical Archer

Class: Sword and Shield

Subclass: Guardian or Swordmaster

Class: Spearman

Subclass: Valkyrie or Lancer

Class: Longsword

Subclass: Strongsword or Devastator

Class: Crossbow

Subclass: Sharpshooter or Assault Master

While certainly this isn’t an exhaustive list, simply because we’ve seen trailers of magic users that will undoubtedly have their own subclasses and schools of magic, this has been a great start to see what each subclass is meant to prioritize. A great example of this was the Sword and Shield, which states that the Guardian class would act as more of a tank character, aimed at protecting their teammates, while the other subclass Swordmaster aims to deal high damage.

Each class seems to fall into their own specialty, and it seems as though Vawraek is hoping that players will be able to diversify their builds even within the confines of their particular subclass. The developers were quick to note that all classes will be suitable for mixed builds, with many allowing for more supportive roles.

Recently, Vawraek requested players sign up for testing with an exceptionally in-depth playtest form that had many questioning their motives. Questions  on the form range from asking potential testers about their schooling, to the type of software design programs they know.

The developers have stated that they "do not recruit the test team based on graduation information" signalling that they only asked some of these questions to get to know their testers better ahead of the closed beta.

While we’re still awaiting more information, including the opportunity to have players jump into a beta of some sort, the expected release date for The Quinfall has yet to be pushed from a Q4 2023 release on Steam. It does appear that the release schedule may seem like a hefty task judging by the amount of information that has been trickling out so far this year, and closed beta testers just now creeping in, but we look forward to seeing more as we barrel through to the end of the year.
