Epic has extended Season 2 of Fortnite as outlined in a new post from the team.
The current plan now calls for Season 3 to launch on June 4. For the current season, the team cites multiple updates still to come,
“Before then, there’s lots of content coming in the current Season. We have multiple game updates on the way that will deliver fresh gameplay, new Challenges, bonus XP, and a couple more surprises up our sleeve! For continued updates on the new Fortnite Season and other plans, we’ll keep you up to speed here and on our social channels.”
If you’re still enjoying Season 2, well, you now have some more time to play out the current season before Season 3 is set to hit on June 4.
