Epic Announces 7M Participants in Week 1 of Battle Royale Mode

Epic's Fornite Twitter account has been updated with the big news that over seven million players took part in the new (and free) Battle Royale mode. To celebrate, the team also announced that "we want to keep the Battle Bus flying, so Duos and Supply Drops are available NOW".

The graphic above is, however, open to interpretation on whether it means 7M in Battle Royale alone or altogether in Fortnite since launch. The image does lead one to think that they mean in Battle Royale alone. Last week, they announced that over 1M took part on the opening day alone.
