Neverwinter releases its 26th module today. Demonweb Pits concludes the Menzoberranzan story arc, adds a new Adventure zone,  Narbondellyn, and a new dungeon that lets you battle Lolth herself. The update also adds some new systems aimed to support progression and help players get their characters prepared and geared for endgame.

You’ll find yourself in Narbondellyn, part of Menzoberranzan, and where mysterious happenings are occurring. There's  some inexplicable dark magic happening that is strange and not normally found in the Underdark. Naturally, this new campaign will have you helping out, and eventually working to stop Lolth  from completing her plans.

The new  dungeon, Demonweb Pits, will give you a shot to do just that, before it assimilates Menzoberranzan itself. Lolth wants power and chaos, so she’ll be prepared. The Archmage of Menzoberranzan, Gromph Baenre, Is summoning demons from the abyss in order to thwart anyone stopping the plans from coming to fruition. he is one of the bosses that you will have to face in this dungeon,  and if you want a shot at stopping Lolth, you’ll have to enter the Demonweb Pits and challenge her directly.

Also in the update are new Abyssal Hunts. Gromph Baenre has been summoning demons, and they don’t just disappear on their own. They are an extension of the adventure zone, where you can fight creatures from the underdark and use modifiers on your hunt to get you some better loot.

There's also a new battle pass starting today with three milestones and a number of rewards to claim.

Finally, there are two additions that are designed to help players progress all the way up through level 20, preparing them for endgame. The first is called the Hero’s Path. It's designed to give you  guidance, skill training, and more to progress to the level cap of 20, and go beyond that prepared for endgame. The second, Neverember’s Recruitment event, Do you earn some extra incentives as you level up to 20. including a reward box every level.

There are some fun additions as well, including the Planar Panic lockbox, which you can open with an enchanted key. oOne of the prizes you could have a chance at claiming is the Uni the Unicorn mount and the mythic companion, Bobby the Barbarian, straight out of the 1980s Dungeons & Dragons cartoon.
