Enshrouded Has Surpassed A Million Players Since Its Early Access Launch

Since launching into Early Access last week, Keen Games' survival game, Enshrouded, has surpassed a million players.

Enshrouded takes players to the world of Embervale, a fantasy world that is mired in a mist-like Shroud that threatens the world and all within its borders. This seemingly simple premise gives way to a world that both begs to be explored and rewards you for doing so, while the survival RPG takes elements from the best in the genre to create an enjoyable experience.

It's no surprise then that players have flocked to Embervale to experience Enshrouded, with over a million players since it launched into Early Access on the 24th.

"In just four days, Enshrouded has attracted over a million players," developer Keen Games shared on Twitter. They continued," We are completely blown away by its success and the overwhelmingly positive reception. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank all our players."

Enshrouded's developers stated that this is "just the beginning" for the co-op survival MMO, stating that they are "looking forward to continuing development" to make it the "best game it can be."

It was a bit of a week for survival games as Enshrouded had to compete with Pocket Pair's Palword, which was released a few days earlier and has sold over 8 million copies across PC and Xbox (not including Game Pass players). We're working on our review of Enshrouded's Early Access launch, which should be finished up this week. However, if our review in progress is any indication, there's a lot to like here.
