The PvP-centered Whitestrake’s Mayhem event returns to The Elder Scrolls Online next week, and bonuses are even easier to take advantage of this time.
For those who are itching to get into a fight with their fellow players, and benefit from a number of bonuses while doing it, now's the time. Well, next Thursday, July 25th, will be the time because the event will open at 10:00 a.m. that day and run through August 6th at 10:00 a.m. Eastern.
Grab the event quest, “Details on the Whitestrake’s Mayhem" from the Crown Store if you need it, and complete the quest. ZeniMax has changed something big about this year's event. You won’t need to get, or consistently use, a Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity to get the event’s signature bonuses –100%+ gain bonus to XP, Alliance Points, and Tel Var Stones. If you have any of the scrolls left from previous events, they don't do anything anymore because the bonuses are now simply shared passively as you go around Cyrodiill, the Imperial City, and Battlegrounds looking for conflict.
Those are just the basic rewards that everyone can now take advantage of more easily, but there are also a number of bonus rewards. Participate in various activities for Pelinal’s Boon Boxes. New this time around is the Ayleid Lich Outfit Style Armor, which you have a chance to get from the Pelinal’s Boon Boxes.
Those boxes can also grant you Tel Var stone parcels, Soul Gems, repair kits, a Daedric Siege weapon, furnishings, Prismatic Runestone, and of course a small chance to receive a style page for the new Ayleid Lich outfit.
If you want to keep up crafting, there are also some bonus resources to look out for, and the merchant Adhazabi “The Golden” Aba-daro Should be of interest since there will be a number of cp160 jewelry pieces on offer. in order to get items from her, she doesn't take gold, this is where those Alliance Point bonuses will come in very handy.
Finally, the Impresario will be back, and you'll have a chance at the first fragment of the Anchorborn Welwa mount.
