Techland has announced that the Dying Light Enhanced Edition will be released for XBox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on February 9, 2016. The new edition will feature the original game, The Following expansion pack, Borzak Horde mode, Be the Zombie mode, Cuisine and Cargo challenge missions and the Ultimate Survivor Bundle for $59.99.
“We didn’t want to follow a beaten track and just re-release our game in a new wrapping with the current DLC added on," explains Maciej Binkowski, lead game designer. “That’s why for the last half year we’ve been working on a ton of enhancements that we’re now going to make available to everyone. We’re adding bonus post-game content, a Nightmare difficulty level, nearly 100 new animations, new NPC models, advanced AI behaviors, and more. One year after the original release, Dying Light will be even bigger.”
The Enhanced Edition will be free to all current owners. The Following expansion is part of the EE or is free to Season Pass owners or available for purchase on the day of release.
