Enad Global 7 has made a few moves recently with the acquisition of not just Pranha Games Inc. but also Big Blue Bubble. The press release indicates that the acquisition agreements are meant to follow their strategy to “perform complementary acquisitions to establish a stronger industry position.”
Enad Global 7 has contributed to many games, such as Destiny 2, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and more, while holding their development and publishing library for games such as My Singing Monsters and Zombie Army 4.
The acquisition of Piranha Games will give them control over Mechwarrior Online as well as any of the other Mechwarrior games presently, or forthcoming in the franchise. You can read more of the press release from the acquisition announcement.
Mechwarrior developer Piranha Games recently delayed some content due to Cyberpunk 2077 also being pushed back, and the team was hesitant to release any content during the same launch cycle as the much anticipated action RPG.
