Embers Adrift kicks off another Summer Celebration today, with community and GM events and a discount, along with a new state of the game update.
The latest Summer Celebration is on now, having kicked off at noon Central Time with a welcome party stream with Community Manager Elloa. Stormhaven has also discounted Embers Adrift to $9.99 for the occasion. remember that the game is by to play with an optional subscription and does not have microtransactions or extra fees.
The team is introducing Bloop, a new event currency as part of a new GM event reward system. They wanted to find a way to reward those who participate in GM events, and having some new cosmetic items for free Just for participating and earning some event currency could be a way to encourage participation and to see more custom events happening.

GM events are happening today as part of the event, and the Embers Adrift team has a schedule for the rest of the weekend, with streams and GM events, a new player group stream, helpful events, and even a tournament on Sunday. There are also likely to be surprised community events and GM events anytime during the weekend and you can find out more if you pay attention to their Discord and social media.
There's also a new state of the game update, with a particular focus on all of the additions and improvements from July. Among the additions were several new quests, reduced loading times, improved visuals for trees that will let the team add more weather effects, and that new GM reward system.
Summer Celebration runs through Sunday, August 18th, wrapping up with that Proving Ground tournament.
