Embers Adrift Updates on Steam Migration and Aims for April Soft Launch

The Embers Adrift team has a new patch and news on the Steam migration, which they are eyeing for next month.

Stormhaven Studios’ efforts to move Embers Adrift to Steam have been ongoing since they broke with their previous payment processor over lack of payments. Since that time, the game has been fully free to play with access to complete member perks while they worked on the big migration.

In an update on the March patch, there was a huge update on when we can expect the game on Steam:

“Steam integration is about 90% complete and we are hoping to soft launch there at the end of April. We are unlikely to meet our goal of including GP2 & Unity6 with the planned April Steam release (barring any last minute snags). However, these updates should follow shortly afterwards.”

The latest patch is full of quality of life updates and fixes, along with some refinements for features like the recently-added auction house. They doubled the auction house limits, adjusted the text, and made a bunch of UI adjustments. Dead bosses should also now stop summoning their minions.
