Embers Adrift’s first Summer Celebration has kicked off, with a half-off sale of the game, new missions, GM events, and major quality-of-life updates.
In a forum post, the staff shared a slew of summer updates that kicked in today at noon CDT (10 a.m. PDT). For one, the game is half off on the official store, including its usual two weeks of free subscription perks.
For those who want to get involved, there’ll be events all weekend run by GMs, including tonight at 5:00 p.m. CDT (3:00 p.m. PDT) today (Friday, July 12), with more promised incentives than usual for participating. The schedule is on a separate post in the forums.
As part of the update, the Dryfoot Fortress will have four new quests, which include “new tech which will allow these and future quests to be more robust:” A Veins Odyssey, Infiltrate the Fortress, The Enemy of my Enemy, and Of Monsters and Mayhem.
All players also get the update that includes a number of notable quality of life upgrades. The gathering grind “has had a rework to smooth out the journey from 1 to 50,” a health regen change, and an overhault of VFX and SFX for all abilities and combat abilities. Plus, more bag space!
