Embers Adrift Offers Free Subscriber Perks to All This Weekend Following Payment Glitch

Embers Adrift’s Steam migration has been mostly working well, but a snag with payments means that Stormhaven is granting subscriber perks to all this weekend.  

Due to a recent issue with Steam’s payment processing system, some users have experienced account-related disruptions and unexpected transaction activity,” today’s update began. The team announced the bonus days today saying that all subscription perks will be free to access throughout the holiday weekend so if you log in with Steam, all accounts will be subscriber flagged. 

This gesture is helping everyone enjoy the game while they work to resolve the issues, as well as thanking everyone for their patience.

Stormhaven is working with Steam to resolve the issue, and has issued refunds for most affected subscription purchases. Some transactions were affected by an additional glitch, and those cannot be refunded but the team promises full credited sub time after the free weekend is over.

They're also working to add alternate payment options to expand flexibility and hopefully prevent future issues.
