ARC Raiders, the upcoming looter-shooter from the former Battlefield lead Patrick Soderlund's new studio, Embark Studios, has been delayed into 2023. The team cites the need for more development time to get the game just right.
ARC Raiders was first shown off during The Game Awards 2021 and is a co-op third-person PvE shooter hitting consoles, PC and GeForce Now. Originally slated for a 2022 release, the team announced on Twitter yesterday morning that they are delaying into 2023 to allow the title to "reach its fullest potential."
"We've made the decision to delay ARC Raiders to 2023," the post reads. "ARC Raiders is an ambitious game, and we will be using this extra time to expand the experience and allow it to reach its fullest potential."
