Elite Dangerous is getting spooky season started, with this week’s Frameshift Live taking on a Halloween flair. The team at Frontier has also given a window for the coming update 14.
Halloween is coming so the Frameshift Live stream this Thursday will offer the chance to get your hands on several Malevolent Ghoul themed paint job drops for watching. These four styles will get four ships season ready. The drops apply to the Cobra MKII, Anaconda, Python, and Asp Explorer. You can get your hands on all four of these by making sure your Twitch Drops are enabled and for every 15 minutes you watch, you’ll unlock another one of the four paint job styles. If you haven't already earned your seasonal Autumn Drop paint jobs you can the time you spend watching this stream will also count for those.
Frontier is also offering some additional gift codes for Halloween paint jobs for other ships. By participating on streams as well as the Elite Dangerous social accounts and channels, they will be giving away gift codes that unlock a four pack of Noctule Hex paint jobs. The codes will unlock the full set for the same ships as the Malevolent Ghoul paint if you get your hands on them. One of the ways to earn some of the seasonal paint jobs will be through the current StellarScreamshots contest.
Two might not be in the Halloween mood but still pay attention to when there will be more contents and the next update. In this week’s announcement post, the team says that they’re confident in announcing Update 14 is targeted for the end of November. More details will be on the way as November arrives and through the month.
