The free play event for Elder Scrolls Online is currently live. If you aren’t currently playing, or used to play and fell off, this may be an ideal time to check out the MMORPG.
The free play event is going on now and will run through August 30 at 10a ET. This free play event is open to anyone on PC, Mac, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and Stadia. Keep in mind, any Xbox console requires Xbox Live Gold, while Stadia requires Stadia Pro.
If you’re interested in checking out ESO during this free play event, head over to the free play page here and select your platform of choice. During the event, you’ll be able to play through Morrowind’s chapter and the base game. This totals the original four classes, 23 zones, and more.
The free play event also includes the Blackwood prologue quest. If you decide to buy the game after this event, you can continue your progress by purchasing Blackwood. If you’ve played previous free play events, you can continue your questing from where you left off.
