In an effort to continue testing performance in Cyrodill PvP, the Elder Scrolls Online team will be disabling Item Set bonuses outside pure stat gains in a test on February 15.

According to the team, this will affect any set which includes a proc, or any condition driven by an ability. That ability will be disabled. The affected sets include Seducer, for example. These are the sets which are affected:

  • Eternal Vigor
  • Footman’s Fortune
  • Hawk Eye
  • Mighty Chudan
  • New Moon Acolyte
  • Robes of Alteration mastery
  • Slimecraw
  • Twice-Born Star
  • War Maiden
  • Willow’s Path
  • Arena Weapons
  • Mythic Items

Moreover, here are the sets which will not be affected:

  • Amber Plasm
  • Armor of the Trainee
  • Beekeeper’s Gear
  • Crafty Alfiq
  • Draugr Hulk
  • Endurance
  • Fortified Brass
  • Grace of the Ancients
  • Hunding’s Rage
  • Impregnable Armor
  • Law of Julianos
  • Leviathan
  • Mother’s Sorrow
  • Plague Doctor
  • Shacklebreaker
  • Spinner’s Garments
  • Spriggan’s Thorns
  • Willpower Agility

The team followed up later noting that any set not on that list which are not affected will still have their stats work. Changes to revert current healing restrictions will also head over the console version of the game.
