Zenimax Online Studios revealed that a preview event for Blackwood, the big chapter content for Elder Scrolls Online’s year-long Gates of Oblivion adventure, is set for March 31.
The event is set to take place on March 31 at 12p PDT / 3p ET and will be live streamed over on their official Twitch channel. The event will provide an early look of the Blackwood chapter which sees players adventure into Cyrodiil’s Leyawiin and over into Black Marsh’s Gideon. The preshow will begin at 1:30p ET.
If you join the stream, you’ll be eligible for Twitch Drops, but be sure to link your account so you don’t miss out on the drops. These drops will include an Ouroboros Crown Crate and Flame Atronach Pony pet.
The Gates of Oblivion adventure kicked off earlier this month with the Flames of Ambition DLC first hitting PC with consoles following soon after. The DLC included two dungeons called Black Drake Villa and The Cauldron providing some backstory for the upcoming year of content.

Finally, the MMO is doing quite well in terms of player population, with 2020 seeing the game add 3 million new players. This brings the total lifetime player count to over 18 million.
