Elden Ring Shows Off Duchess's Gameplay In New Reveal Trailer

Elden Ring: Nightreign’s latest character trailer and gameplay showcase show off Duchess, the quick-stepped corsair of sorts. We already knew of the Duchess “Nightfarer,” which are the main playable characters in Nightreign, but this trailer gives a better glimpse at what she’s capable of for those who couldn’t try her in the beta. 

Duchess seems to be a little more of the “corsair” type, wielding a rapier and dagger and swinging with grace and finesse, and with a buff that lets her use less stamina to dodge. Most interestingly, her key perk is the Restage ability, which makes her enemies take all of the collective damage that her team has taken on. 

As a Finale “Ultimate Art,” which is to say the finisher, she can hide the entire team, letting any willing Nightfarer(s) get up and close for one final strike. 

We’ve also seen similar previews thus far of Ironeye, who had his own character trailer followed by a gameplay showcase. With the Nightreign release date less than two months away, chances are we’ll be seeing more characters shown off in the coming weeks.
