Elden Ring: Nightreign will launch on May 30th, but before then, we get an extensive gameplay overview trailer  and details on the big PAX East presentation, where the game will get a demo.

The gameplay overview trailer is a 10-minute long video that introduces us to the co-op survival action sequel. You are a Nightfarer and you start at level 1 in Limveld. You have a limited time until darkness falls and you will have to progress and gain strength, hunt enemies, find items and wander around. Later, infiltrate a few bases and eventually find  fortresses filled with enemies and even better rewards.

Once it does get dark, the Night’s Tide will spread around Limveld and eventually limit your movement. It ushers you into inevitable confrontation, so you and your allies need to be prepared. Every time you visit Limveld, the layout will change,  there will be different environmental hazards like lava eruptions and potentially meteor strikes and rewards and locations will also be different. so it offers many replays with something fresh every time. On the third, and final day, you'll have to confront the Nightlords, the ultimate threat, and try to stop the obliteration of these lands.

Along the way, you'll have to continue getting better,  and you and the other night ferrers recover lost memories through gameplay, revealing backstories and More Story detail, including more stuff about the world and the characters.

At PAX East from May 8-11th, Bandai Namco Entertainment will have a booth (#16055) and host a theater-based demo where content creators challenge players to a the three-player co-op challenge, with prizes on the line for everyone in attendance if they succeed.
